| Notes/Report: DATE: September 10, 2007 - Report to Exec Council Region 3  Region III report to NYSFAAA Executive Council September 10, 2007 1. Since our last meeting Region 3 held its June meeting at the Adams Mark in Buffalo on June 22. We had 32 members attend. We worked on the beginning of the Conference. As a reminder Region 3 will be hosting the conference at the Adams Mark Oct 21-24 2008. 2.September 6 the officers of Region 3 had a transition meeting for the new officers and committee chairs. As a reminder our new officers are: Council Representative Gina Soliz Regional Chair Sean View Regional Secretary Bonnie Rooker Regional Treasurer Pat Johnson 3. September 28th we hold our first meeting of the academic year. It will be at SUNY Oswego. We will be focusing on Conference work all this year. It will be the majority of our training. At this meeting we will award our service award, which we named after a Robin Jacox. 4. Finally, and this will require some discussion. This is a tight budget year. I myself am not sure how we finally decided how we were going to handle things. Our Region 3 Support staff workshop will be held in October. The committee has submitted a budget for $2,500 to run the program. This workshop was included in Region 3s budget that we submitted to Executive council in the Spring.
