Dear Region 4 and 5 members,

Unfortunately the decision has been made to cancel the “Putting the Pieces Together” workshop that was scheduled for June 16-17, 2005 in Albany, NY. This determination was reached by the committee members based on low attendance numbers.

A big thank you those who registered and expressed interest in this training workshop. All of us on the committee appreciate the support you were showing both regions. The committee recommends that if you had already reserved a room at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Albany, you cancel that reservation as soon as possible to avoid any charges.

We also would like to express our thanks to all those who had agreed to speak at the conference and those lenders who had pledged support.

The committee hopes that we are able to host this event or something similar next year! Please help us spread the word that training should be an important aspect of our jobs and that we should always have training workshops available within our financial aid community.
