Summer is here for the rest of the world, but for the Financial Aid Community, we’re overwhelmed right now trying to accommodate students and institutions that shout “Show me the money!”

Our meetings are crucial to new members. Remember when you were a new member and had a question? Who did you go to? A colleague you met at Novice Training or a conference? Please encourage your new Financial Aid colleagues to join our membership in our important efforts to keep up with the latest Financial Aid issues and training updates.

Remember that NYSFAAA only exists as long as our membership is vital and engaged. Note that it is very helpful not to wait until the last minute to renew your membership. It’s always a logistical adventure trying to get everyone registered in November for the conference.
