Governor’s Budget

The Governor’s budget does not cut TAP, but proposes raising full time to 15 credits

In addition, colleges would be required to “pre-fund” first time TAP applicants in 2006-07 who are admitted without a high school diploma.  Institutions would be reimbursed (with interest) when those students successfully complete 24 credit hours. This will especially impact community colleges.
