The Department has increased the number of applications selected for V5 verification for 2025-2026 and beyond, primarily due to the increase in student identity theft. We will discuss verification of FTI and non FTI information, along with verifying student identity. Let’s discuss what we are seeing in 2025-2026 and what is expected in 2026-2027.
