Transportation

Conference attendees can make their way to Long Island in a number of different ways.  You can fly to one of our airports:  Long Island Mac Arthur Airport, John F. Kennedy International Airport, or La Guardia Airport.

Taxis and Limos to the hotel from the two major airports, JFK and LaGuardia, can run in the ballpark of $100.  We recommend that you coordinate your arrival with a travel buddy and share a ride.   If you are flying into JFK, another cost-saving strategy for your ground transportation is to take the AirTrain to Jamaica.  From Jamaica you can take the LIRR (Long Island Railroad) to Farmingdale and pick up a LYFT/UBER to the hotel.  Here’s a handy video to help you navigate the AirTrain - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pv_oQrzMTlE

If you prefer to travel by train, you can take either AMTRAK , Metro-North, or the NYC Subway to Penn Station. From there, you will need to take the Long Island Railroadto the FARMINGDALE STATION.  Once at the Farmingdale Station, you can request an Uber or Lyft from your smartphone app.

For the most current fares, please check here.

For our road warriors who prefer to take to the highway, use your handy-dandy GPS and plug in the following address:   598 Broad Hollow RoadMelvilleNew York
